Labour Day Shenanigans

Labour Day weekend is always a good time in Cochrane. The Parade and the Rodeo are the highlights for sure.

Took the kids to the Stamps game to watch them put a beating on the Al's. (Sorry Quebec friends). It was going well until the fourth quarter... then a streaker ran across the entire field and we had to answer some interesting questions from Ben.

First Day of School

Arrived back in Cochrane Wednesday night and Ben headed to school today. A bit of a crazy day but it all went well and Ben enjoyed the day. Only a few tears were shed (by Kira).

Final Day in North Hatley

It is always sad to leave such a beautiful place. We have had a fantastic time with family and with friends and are already looking forward to next summer.

We also look forward to seeing all of the wonderful people that make Calgary home. Hope you all had as good a summer as we did.

Hovey Manor

North Hatley is home to one of the most beautiful Inns in Canada, Hovey Manor. www.manoirhovey.com Kira and I walked up there for brunch this morning.

It is a spectacular place.

Final wrap up at swimming lessons

At the end of the summer swimming lessons at the beach they host a fun day and hand out the hardware for the year. Here are a few pics from the day.
