Firemans day is always a big day in North Hatley. This year Matt, Kim and the kids and Tammy, Chris and the crew were all here to share the day. This made it extra "cool" for Ben and GG. Above and below we make the walk from the beach to the park for the festivities.

Each morning we make the long 500 meter walk down to the beach from Kira's parents place. The walk, although short, is full of excitement as you see here.

So far the few days we have been in North Hatley have been hot and humid! The kids are having blast and started their swimming lessons today.

June Blur

June has been a bit of a blur and as I look at the evidence on the blog, I see that we have done a poor job of keeping up with things. As the school year draws to a close we are excited about heading back to North Hatley on Friday and spending 8 weeks basking in the Quebec sun. Kira will be starting a new job at Bearspaw school just down the road from us teaching Grade 5 and Ben will be starting kindergarten in the fall. GG is as always "pumped" to begin pre school. Anyway here are some shots from tonights final game of the season for the "Red Fire Dragons".
