Fall....

Those of you who have been out East for a fall know what a beautiful time of year it is. September has definitely been the best month for us so far, and that was hard to top.

Ben is happiest in the boat.

Ever get this look from a groom Al?

Annual right of passage is the bringing in of the wood. Being an ex elementary teacher Mike had great access to the old playground equipment. This slide has saved many a finger getting smashed on the window sill.

The Pinnacle

About 45 minutes from North Hatley on the Vermont border is a little town called Balwdwin Mills on the shore of Lac Lyster. Overlooking the lake is a "mountain" called the pinnacle. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area and some pretty good climbing from what I could see. Kira, Ben, Georgia, Michael and I decided to check it out today.

The Ocean

We spent the weekend driving down to the Maine coast and relaxing on the beach. (may have fit in a bit of shopping as well). Ben had a blast on the beach and we all enjoyed the time away (from what I'm not sure).

He pushed this truck everywhere!

On the way there we passed through the White Mountain National Forrest. Ben had a few bouldering problems he wanted to work on in the shadow of Mount Washington so we stopped and let him at them!

Someone's Two!

Ben's 2nd birthday was a small family affair filled with the occasional flury of sporting equipment. I don't know how we are going to get it all back to Calgary!

Georgia was pumped

Grandma and Granpa came through with a workbench!

The gift opening was a blurr

Uncle Steve and Auntie Sue showed up with a fire truck!
